About Us
Acre Safeguarding Solutions Limited provides bespoke tailor-made Safeguarding Training and Consultancy packages to organisations in both the public and private sector including Government Departments, Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Schools, Charities and NGO’s.
Acre Safeguarding Solutions Limited supports the ideology that 'safeguarding' should run like a golden thread through all elements of organisational service delivery, and we aim to support you and your staff with dynamic and informative learning environments.
Stef Miller
Our Founder, Stef Miller, has in excess of thirty years experience in Safeguarding including Lectureships at University of Kent, South Kent College and West Kent College. Admitted to the Degree of Bachelor of Law (LLB Hons) in 2004, Stef has held several operational and strategic safeguarding roles. Stef was appointed by the Home Secretary as an Independent Monitor of Prisons in both HMP Swaleside in Kent and HMP Cardiff in Wales and has worked with children and vulnerable adults in community settings, in secure mental health environments, and for 10 years was employed by an Organisation contracted to the Home Office managing a Team of Safeguarding Officers in the Asylum and Refugee field.
Training Methodology
An organisations biggest asset is a strong, robust, highly-trained staff team. At Acre Safeguarding Solutions Limited, we utilise the experience and skillset of subject matter experts to ensure that we are able to support you and your organisation with training solutions tailored to your operational requirements.
Our preferred training delivery option is Face to Face Group sessions that allow the participants the opportunity to engage in a structured learning environment with colleagues / peers and trainer. This model supports 'immediate subject matter engagement'. All Training programs are developed and delivered using the SMEAC Teaching Model.
We do also offer virtual remote learning sessions via MS Teams for organisations that may logistically struggle to bring wider staff teams together face to face.

Consultancy Methodology
At Acre Safeguarding Solutions Limited, we offer a number of Consultancy packages to organisations to better inform their operational safeguarding decisions and service delivery. Our Consultancy and Audit packages will be designed. tailored and delivered with your company or organisation operations central to the data to be captured and reviewed.
Acre Safeguarding Solutions Limited employ the MECE Principle (Mutually Exclusive, Collectively Exhaustive) to ensure that all Consultancy or Audit Frameworks look to identify all aspects without redundancy or gaps in data analysis.
